How is it free?
The are currently a number of energy efficiency grant schemes available in the UK. These are backed by the UK Government and are funded by the big 6 energy suppliers and the UK Government.
Local Authority (LAD) scheme, Home Upgrade Grant (HUG), Energy Company Obligation (ECO4) scheme. We work with a range of installers across the UK to help deliver these schemes for free to UK residents.
Different funding and grants are available in different areas based on circumstances and the energy efficiency of your home. All of these schemes are in place to improve the energy efficiency of properties in the UK as part of the Government’s net zero pledge.
IMPORTANT: these are free schemes which are fully funded by the UK Government and energy companies
Who is eligible for the scheme?
To be eligible for this scheme, you must be a homeowner. We cannot help you if you are a tenant.
You must have a household income below £30,000 OR somebody in your home receives a means tested benefit
We cannot help if you live in a flat, apartment or a static caravan.
What’s included?
Loft Insulation For Your Home
Insulation is installed in your home as part of the scheme which can include roof, underfloor and wall insulation. Did you know that 35-45% of heat is lost through poor or no insulation?
Heat rises, which means that plenty of heat generated in your property rises to your roof and can escape out of your roof. Good insulation prevents this from happening and will ensure that the heat remains in your property.

Do I have to be on benefits to be eligible for this?
You don’t have to be on benefits to be eligible for this scheme. If your total household income is below £30,000 OR somebody in your home is in receipt of a means-tested benefit then you are eligible.
